Happy Anniversary, Mr. Rose

I have known my husband for over 44 years and we’ve been married for 38 years as of this past July 3rd. And while I did not write him a love song specifically for our anniversary this year, I recently wrote him a love song as part of my album, All My Parts.

A celebration of this marriage and relationship and partnership and friendship and love affair that I have, within the longevity of my partnership with this man that I call my husband.

We had a great anniversary day…

We had lunch together. And then we went and got a smog test for my car because well …that’s romantic! And then went on a hike with two of our grandsons on the Pratt Trail. They were mountain goats! And I could barely keep up. All three of them, the grandsons and my husband :)

Not a special day in terms of doing something anniversary special, an incredibly special day in terms of sweetness and love and joy
